Highly recommend

Very clean and comfortable hotel, i used as stop over for night on my travels. Only problem was getting shuttle bus from airport to hotel couldn’t get information or find bus had to taxi but got shuttle back to airport. Hotel should provide more detail on shuttle bus for arriving customers

Property was newly renovated and very clean. Loved the breakfast component where you can make your own waffles. Only 15 minutes bus ride to the nearest surf break or 10 minutes on an Uber. The bed was not so comfy though

We arrived at 1am after driving for about 12 hrs. The property is clean and welcoming. However, if you arrive late at night, the surrounding area has an abandoned vibe as in there are homes and buildings around the hotel but right next to it, there is bush and you do not have access to the beach from 45th St. You will have to go to either 39th or 59th St to get access. You can access the boardwalk but be prepared to walk a bit. There is only street parking available. Mon morning you cannot park on one side of the road and Wed morning you cannot park on the other side of the road. Cars are fine on the street but make sure that you move them accordingly. Subway location is perfect. Literally at your footstep. Going to Manhattan takes about 1 hr 10 min.

The staff they treat you as family, Eric in the front desk couldn’t be the best, the manager how a nice lady. The boy from Venezuela the guide you where to go and how!!!! We went all over the world and this little get a way hotel gave to us the best customer services to the point that we are coming back in 2 weeks.

For a restful layover at JFK

We had an overnight layover at JFK and chose La Quinta as an alternative to the usual clusters of airport hotels near JFK. The breakfast at La Quinta was terrific with hot and cold entrees. The room had a/c and was large and very clean. The hotel is 1 short block away from an A train station, if you want an alternative to waiting for the hotel shuttle. The down-side is that there are no restaurants in the area, but again, with the A train, you can travel into Brooklyn or Manhattan easily.

Location is close to the boardwalk, nice walk towards restaurants, beach activities and supermarkets. The A train is right next to the hotel! Breakfast is great and if you get lucky you'll get Tracy to help you, though everyone there is lovely and helpful.

Nice clean room with refrigerator and microwave. Free shuttle to JFK. Thank you to the check in clerk who let us get in to the room a couple hours early, as we were going to an evening wedding and appreciated the extra time to rest a little and not have to rush to get ready for the wedding.

If you like roller coasters, you’ll love the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. On the drive you may get to see a crime scene with a multitude of police on standby while you zip past a yellow taped area. Upon arrival you will be greeted with a smile. This I can say was genuine. I was genuinely happy to be inside a structure. Upon arrival to my room, I quickly realized I was street level and for a solid hour heard a distressed individual pounding on a door and shouting a name, this eventually pulled me into a short sleep. I will say the shower was superb! The complimentary breakfast...I can’t offer many compliments...the banana was good! So if you like adventures and want to experience many emotions in one night, stay here! If you want to sleep soundly, perhaps splurge on an extra $20. X

We were told a shuttle would be 20 minutes and after several delays and phone calls, it was 90 minutes. Pull out bed was only better than the floor because we were not actually a the floor. Room was too small for the furnishings. Windows leaked so much noise I thought I was outside.
