「Perfect spot for our weekend away visiting Hermann. The cottage was so cute, clean, & comfortable bed. Nice morning walk on the trail on the property to the lake with a bridge-beautiful fall scenery! When we checked in, the smoke alarm was beeping due to low battery & it required a ladder to access so the front desk was notified. The hostess & maintenance guy came right away to fix it. They were very nice. Would def stay at this property again.」

「My guy & I decided that this was the perfect stay for us: I wanted a B&B but he doesn't like 'staying in a bedroom in someone's house'. We had our own large cottage that has a wonderful, quirky vibe & breakfast that you pick up on a large tray & bring back to your cottage! It is located on bend in the Missouri River & the view is breathtaking. It was the perfect location, too, halfway between the river town of Washington & Hermann in wine country, both fun places to visit.」

「Room clean. Ni cold water. No staff and not available on phone」

「Glad we stayed here on our overnight stop. The front desk staffer was so friendly and accommodating with a few last-minute items we needed help with. The room was nice, clean, and the bed/bedding was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet had several tasty items and some featured lactose-free and sugar-free items which two in our party needed so that was an added bonus we weren’t expecting.」

「Loved this property! Beds were so comfortable, large walk-in shower and decor was amazing!」

「Our host mentioned he does not receive messages from Expedia postings. So if you are not receiving check-in information, you might want to find another way to contact them. The property is lovely. The Treehouse was perfect for my granddaughter and me.」

「The room had a floral perfume like smell to it which causes me migraines. There was no mirror in the bathroom which was weird. Hard to figure out how to do my hair. Only one mirror in the whole room and it was in a poorly lit area. The curtains didn't hang right do it let the light from the outside lights in the room. The breakfast was some of the worst I have had in a hotel. There were holes in the duvet and you didn't have a decent blanket to use for a cover. The water on our second...

「Staying at Stone Haus was like visiting a distant relative. The owners were friendly and inviting. Their dog Mandy was also friendly. The place was filled with various antique pieces and paintings. It made us feel right at home. The breakfast we were served could have fed twice as many people. We did not use the hot tub though it was offered to us. Its location offered a quiet neighborhood and lovely scenery. It truly felt like home. the experience was lovely.」

「The property was recently updated with the amenities modernized. The staff were more than helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and well maintained.」

「Clean and quiet. What’s not to like」
