「We were a bit confused by this hotel. This is a luxury boutique hotel that didn’t really feel like a luxury hotel. The staff were nice which is expected but didn’t go out of their way for us. The location is excellent and our room had a beautiful view of the Portofino piazza but the windows all had signs saying “please keep windows closed”. Our room furnishings were standard. 「Staff was kind, welcoming and accommodating. Checking went smoothly and we were allowed to store our bags and change clothes when we arrived early in the day.」

「Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was clean although we did have ants in our room. The staff at the hotel was attentive to this issue and helped resolve it immediately. The rooms are very thoroughly cleaned. The pool area is nice. Close walk to all there is to offer in town!」

「We stayed 4 nights at hotel vesuvio and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The rooms were clean and very well air conditioned. The staff were very kind and even called a taxi for us one night when we were going to dinner on the outskirts of Rapallo (thanks Sophie). We also really liked the free breakfast they provide every morning. I hope we make it back to Rapallo one day and I would definitely stay at hotel vesuvio again!」
