「We had a wonderful time at the Lake of the Woods. It was a very relaxing place. What I liked mostly is the private lake because it was just steps away and we did not have to have a licence. We enjoyed fishing with my husband. The older stove/oven/refrigerator/ pantry was super charming. I also liked that although it was in the woods and felt far away from the city, Showlow was jist 10 mins away if we forgot something or wanted to have a nicer ait down dinner at a restaurant. 」

「What a gem!! So incredibly happy to have found this place and we were so lucky to have it all to ourselves for 2 evenings as well. We came in for the weekend to leave Monday although ended up staying another evening. The lake view is perfect, the cottage was divine and quite large for $$. 「We had a wonderful stay at lazy oaks. What a gorgeous property! Very spacious and well kept, right on the lake. There is a community area with grills, fire pit, horseshoes and picnic benches. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We stayed in blue spruce, which has a fireplace and a fenced backyard /dog run. Our cabin was stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. 」

「It’s a very cute, quiet place that was an overall great place to stay. It was clean and comfortable. I’d stay there again without any changes but some minor criticism/suggestions would be to make the numbers on the cabins more visible (maybe glow in the dark paint), make sure the paper towel roll is full or leave a second in the kitchen and I thought it was great they had dishes and dish soap but there was no sponge to do the dishes. The only straight up complaint was that one of the twist stick...
