We were finishing a 2 week trip on Rt 66. The nostalgi Wig Wam hotels are in the vicinity. Also, The Petrified Forest and Painted Desert (same park in one driveable circle) were close by. We went on this 28 mile drive. It did not disappoint.

One of those small towns that somehow survived the demise of Route 66. Nice restaurants and a great Cafe for breakfast and coffee a minute from the hotel.

"Navajo ladies needs to be more friendly especially at the place where you get your players' club card. When I got mine, the lady who processed my card just left the card on the counter & walked away without saying anything. That was very bad. "
