"Th hotel staff were friendly, however I do feel that for a hotel a little way from the city centre to charge £12 per day is excessive. I think the hotel should reimburse the cost by way of a drinks/food voucher per stay. The room was ok, bed was excellent, however carpet was stained in places."

"We stayed on a brilliantly priced deal in a huge room. The building is wonderfully historic and all of the history is available to read and see if you are interested. Some bits need tlc but everything was working OK and the beds are comfortable."

"Lovely safari tent in a convenient and peaceful setting. Incredibly handy for National Water sports centre. Bed was comfy, great having separate rooms too. Worth noting that although there are toilets close by, the only showers are at the far end of the campsite so a few minutes walk away. Tent had a mini fridge and an electric kettle, but no gas hob or pans / crockery / cutlery / cups etc so need to take your own if planning on any cooking / hot chocolates etc."
