Spacious room and very comfortable. Within 10mins walk to the Shijo dori main shopping area, Teramachi and Nishiki markets maybe 12mins. Lots of bus stops within a short walk An excellent coin laundry just a couple of doors up the street and a seven eleven around the corner.

The room is really big with a tatami area where you can relax. You can move the beds around easily. Everyone in the front desk speaks fluent English. It has an old school key lock. It only has roughly 12 rooms. So even though it only has 1 washer, it was empty every time we have to use it. It also had an ice and water machine. It is in a quiet neighbourhood that is close to many shrines. The only minor complaint I have is there was a weird smell coming from either the washroom or the shower room. We had to turn the exhaust fan on the entire time to get rid of it. Also the TV was positioned in away such that it took me 5 minutes to connect the HDMI.

Great place for accessing the main line to all the local attractions. Clean. Friendly staff. No view from windows. A different layout to the room could give more space.

Very clean and large room compared to small rooms generally in Japan. Clean and next to train station.
