"Wondeful quiet place, a little aways from khao lak, like 20km so be prepared for an 700baht taxi ride. Staff was fantastic and restaurant was great. Beautiful rooms and environment. "

View from room from one window looks at a pond with runoff water from a bunch of buildings draining into it day and night. "Tucked away behind Moo 4, The Khao Lak Palm Hill Resort is a hidden gem. Don’t expect beachfront chain hotel luxury but do expect rustic charm and a warm, friendly welcome. Far enough away from the main road to be peaceful and tranquil but close enough to access everything that the area has to offer by way of shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. The hotel has 49 large rooms, all surrounding a lovely pool and with the forest as a backdrop. There wasn’t one day that we didn’t get a sunbed...
