"Overall this was a nice hotel.
The issue I experienced finding my wallet missing money immediately after a staff member cleaned our room.
When escalating the incident with the hotel staff, they sided with their staff member and the story they told us was not believable.

"The hotel is very convenient just off the main Nakuru - Mombasa highway. The bedroom was good and clean, but the bathroom was not working well, had standing water on the floor and not so clean. The staff were helpful, but for some reason my online booking was not received and so it was lucky they had space and I had to get cash to pay. The hotel could be heading in the right direction, but needs more attention to the detail they have in the bedroom to other aspects of the facilities"

The hotel is located on the crater of Crater Lake. The view is breathtaking, there is hiking around with amazing views. The service is excellent, the food is good but the best is the view. I hope I will be back and spend several days there.

We had a wonderful and enjoyable two-night stay at Sopa Resort. The grounds are beautifully populated with calm zebras, waterbucks, and giraffes, which makes them easy to photograph. All the staff were cheerful and accommodating. A special thank you to Jacob for assisting us in arranging our boat safari.

Good place to stay at for a layover. Cheap, spacious rooms, and they provide breakfast. Place is hard to find and it would help if they had a sign thay said "El Sueno Homestay" outside the Main Gate instead of our driver wondering if this is the place, calling the lady, then her coming outside. The place is pn Muthiaga Lane (Its a Blue sign) and leads all the way to the end on the left. The locals helped us find it. But yes, def good place to stay for a night while you transition to your next...
