"We enjoyed our stay at Doubletree. The room was very clean & there wasn’t any problems. We enjoyed eating in your restaurant. Thank you for the couple for a nice adult beverage. We stayed with you guys because the next day,Friday I had cataract and & that’s why I didn’t respond because I wasn’t able to read for a few days. Doubletree was 5 minutes away from my appointment. "Had a deluxe room overlooking the Koi pond and Harbor. This hotel has a mid-century vibe. The location is perfect. Starbucks is a mere 1.3 miles away. It’s walking distance from a great restaurant that is right across the street. Locals confirmed this fact. Staff was friendly, helpful and fun… The hotel looks like a converted old Holiday Inn, with only outside access to each room. However, the carefully crafted the remodel has succeeded in injecting charm to the solid bones…"

"When I first pulled up, I was hesitant. I reread the reviews to remind myself of why I booked and then went in. First and foremost, I never saw any bugs let alone the bugs the one review mentioned. The room is spacious, beds comfortable, well appointed kitchenette, and nice water pressure for a real shower. I had gone to the green sand beach before arrival so I needed a good shower! Location is wonderful. I highly recommend the farmers market right behind it. They have souvenirs, jewelry, cool homemade crafts & goods, and a food market w produce vendors as well as teas, coffees, etc. I bought some mangosteens and wow they’re so good! Fantastic location to tide pools over behind the airport, plenty of food options close and into town. Find a place that has Vietnamese iced coffee, trust me!! There are some unhoused folks along the sidewalks that are super chill, not asking for anything, and are quite charming and kind. "

"Located in the center of Hilo 5-15 minutes away from everything, 45 minutes from Kilauea lookout. The building is older and the lower floors are private businesses but you basically only go to the elevator and the coffee shop. The unit was nice, recently renovated everything kitchen to bathroom. The downfall was the A/C in one of the rooms just broke down and a part needed to be ordered but other than that unit was clean, nice, and enjoyable. Useful kitchen appliances if you were thinking of cooking but we didn't because we were out and about. The pool is on the smaller side and on the side of parking lot. We didn't go in it because it was always raining. "
