「A hidden gem in the very heart of the historic district. An old Spanish colonial house with an open courtyard. Walk 5min to the Basilica and the Plaza Grande. Lots of good restaurants around too. Full of green plants lovingly cared for (even polishing the leaves) by the staff. Mariam and her staff were super friendly and looked after me really well. It was truly a pleasure to stay there and I look forward to another visit.」

「A nice boutique hotel with great staffs. Location close to old town. Bed is comfortable and breakfast tasty. Two minor issues with my single room. First being no wardrobe. Second the bathing area is too open and water do spill out and wet the floor a bit.」

Un viejo edificio remodelado y bien adaptado para viajeros frescos y acostumbrados a conocer los rincones típicos de una ciudad con el ritmo local. Hay que subir escaleras y hay que disfrutarla vista matutina o el atardecer. Si desayunas temprano, ya estuvo, verás la niebla que baña el horizonte con su frescura sabrosa. La atención, espléndida.」

「The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast delicious. This hotel was also in as great location! You have to use common sense at night time because the area becomes a little unsafe, but it’s perfectly fine during daytime. 」

「Casa San Marcos hotel was amazing! Such beatiful building ( was build in 1702) with all its antiques, arts all over and modern amenities for very special and unique stay. We felt we were staying in a castle two centuries ago though with all the modern day comfort and luxury.」
