"Overall this is a very good value. The rooms are very small. But they are 100 year old buildings in Manhattan. I guess thats to be expected. And frankly, you don’t go to New York to sit in a room. Exceptional location if you are going for Broadway theatre. Connection to transit is also very easy from Row NYC. "

"Extremely rude hotel staff across the board from the front desk to the elevator guards (the day-time guards were rude, the night-time guards were totally fine and kinder). Rooms are shockingly shabby and bathrooms are unacceptably filthy. The only two perks for this hotel are the location on Broadway and the fact that the restaurant, Friedman’s, is fantastic and has excellent food and waitstaff support. "
