"This is not a 5 star hotel but it is a 5 star experience. Quirky/funky/cool historic hotel vibe even before you walk inside. Clean, serviceable rooms (if a bit small). Staff is amazing, restaurant downstairs served delicious menu items and below marker prices (still unsure how they do that!! Will be our go-to for visits to St Pete"

"The employees make this hotel. From the greeting at the valet to Alice at reception we felt very welcome. One afternoon we called because our television wouldn’t turn on. We called the desk and Jonathan said he would send up Javier who reset the tv and we were able to watch some Olympics. My friend asked if their afternoon cookies were done and Jonathan said they would be done in a few minutes and he actually ran a few up to our room. The room was spacious and clean and the bathroom was roomy with a great shower. The location was the best. Just a short walk to everything; amazing restaurants, the art festival, farmers market and the pier. We had a wonderful long weekend in downtown St. Petersburg. "
