"Nice that the property was close to a Jumbo(pronounced Yumbo in Dutch) grocery store. And very easy walk to the train station. Rooms were only cleaned once during my 8 night stay. Found that to be an odd arrangement. Room was always hot. Had to open the window continuously to cool it down to a sensible temperature. Frustrating they lock the entry door to the lobby. I literally could not get in to check in upon arrival. Foolish setup. Over the hotel is a ok find. Nothing fancy, but not trashy either."

"By far one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Staff were super nice and helpful, food offered at hotel was amazing and the rooms looked exactly like the photos. It’s super close to the train station. There is an arcade and a movie theatre all within walking distance. I definitleywould be returning to Zandaam. Loved it so much "

"What a lovely hotel. All the staff were lovely, they treated our daughter like a princess, and helped me find a doctor when she needed medical attention. Perfect breakfast buffet with plenty of options. The pool area was closed and we would love to go again when it opens. The art was great to look around and I would recommend taking the stairs. Told us how to get to the tulip festival by public transport and we had a fantastic day. They didn’t have details of local restaurants, which would have been useful but appreciated our feedback when we said where we had found to eat. Overall a fantastic 2 night stay. "

"Comfy bed, decent air conditioning, room very clean , however so basic that not even a paper cup at the sink. Also did not advertise the extortionate fee for a dog. Hotel was above a shopping centre in a high rise block, nowhere nearby for a meal unless you wanted fast food "

"The room was excellent and it comes with a fridge! You buy your own food and drinks at the supermarket Albert Hijn , which is almost at the hotel parking area, foot steps away! And this hotel is at the best location ever , also foot steps away from the Zaandam Train Station!"

"Everything was great apart from pillow a bit lumpy and soft. But asked for extras and it came very quick. Would be excellent if there was a set of draws somewhere to put bits in. Bar needs more staffs when there’s a conference on as I couldn’t get serve, waited at the bar like 15mins, gave up in the end. "
