What is there to say? Clean, basic room. No frills, but a comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom. It’s a little odd since the hotel is a couple of floors of an office building, but don’t let that put you off. About a 3 minute walk to the train station, and right out your door is a cute shopping street with all of your necessities. The train station is on both a direct line to Schiphol airport and Amsterdam Centraal so getting around is easy. If you need a place to crash that’s affordable and spitting distance from Amsterdam, this is your spot.

The hotel is in a good location, close to everything. The staff was friendly, the rooms were comfortable. I asked for a wheelchair accessible room and I can say that the bathroom is really big, it has a roll in shower, the only thing a little difficult was to regulate the temperature of the water but other than that everything was great, the room is a little small but there was enough space for my wheelchair which was my main worry. We had a nice view from our window, it would be nice if there was a window that would open to get some ventilation but it was OK. One suggestion would be to have more places to put stuff, like a table or something. Will definitely stay there again though. We loved Zaandam.

Staff were friendly. The room was basic but comfortable. It is within two minutes walking distance from zaandam station, which has regular trains into the centre (€3.50) and direct to the airport (€7) im sure there are passes you can buy that are would make this cheaper but I was fine with the price. I have stayed at this hotel twice now and would again on my next trip to the Netherlands:)

Comfy bed, decent air conditioning, room very clean , however so basic that not even a paper cup at the sink. Also did not advertise the extortionate fee for a dog. Hotel was above a shopping centre in a high rise block, nowhere nearby for a meal unless you wanted fast food
