「May be the reason for the early morning, no one in the hall, almost to sleep, the key and the name on the door do not match, looking for a long time, the room is very hot, the air is not cold enough, the bed is also covered with plush cushions! Health is generally not very satisfactory.」

「This property is a current work in progress...I hope. The room was stellar and redone VERY well. The rooms was clean and staff were kind and helpful. There are a few areas that still need to be redone (e.g., the ground floor walk way to elevator looks like a trap house, and elevator sounds like it it’s pleading for oil/lubrication.). 「Sa;rah at the front desk gave us a lovely room at the end of the hallway. It was amazing for the view and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay,. Elijah made a very nice espresso martini that we sipped while watching the sun set over the river. 」

「The room was super clean - the entire hotel was clean. The staff was friendly - especially Art. He was extremely helpful!! The beds were comfortable, ample parking & the a/c worked well. We didn’t have time for breakfast, but it smelled great!」

「It was nice to be right in downtown Bay City in walking distance of restaurants and 4th of July activities. We are from Bay City and enjoyed being an out of town guest!」

「Breakfast staff, the breakfast ambassador was great. Very friendly and kept food stocked. Her fill in on her day off. Not so good Rarely was anyone at the front desk. Calls went to a message machine. Two nights in a row ZERO parking. Had to wait until staff left their shift and 2nd night had to create one. Didn’t clean our room the second day, our do not disturb sign was not on. Then when they finally did it. Very minimal.」

「The place is undergoing some renovation and is likely going to change hands soon. It's an older facility ('50s would be my guess), but the couple in charge of the place were doing a nice job upgrading it and repairing what needed to be repaired. The room was clean (except for some diatomaceous earth that had been tracked in earlier in the day, we got there after midnight) and comfortable and quiet. Totally acceptable value lodging.」

「Very small rooms in this old-fashioned roadside motel. Some cosmetic upgrades have taken place but there's only so much you can do for an old cinder block building. The biggest problem was heat. It's radiant heat with no way to control it. They have a fake thermostat for a central air furnace on the wall, but it does nothing. It's March and the only way to get the heat below 80 is to leave windows open! Doesn't feel to safe leaving ground level windows open. We were roasting hot. We also...
