The good; the location, very convenient in every way. the mattress and bedding were good. the shower had good water temp and pressure, although the handle fell off. the bad; the kitchen had no silverware, no scissors, very little in the way of utensils or dishware. the uglly; from the moment i walked into the room, i had a mild allergic reaction, perhaps to mildew but i think more likely to the cleaning products. NONE OF THE WINDOWS CAN BE OPENED so the unit never gets any true ventilation. i’m sure this is for the AC but it made me sick and so i left early.

Just finished a 4 night stay in a queen one bedroom suite. Clean room with pleanty of towels, comfy bed, kitchen with everthing i needed.(could use handtowels or papertowels) 2 tvs work, hot water all times of the day. 2 ac units work wonderfully. Safe that worked. Absolutely no bugs! Didnt see a phone. No shuttle to and from airport. You can visit 5 other hotels pools(pool hoping) i only went to 3 and they were rooftop pools. Catalina has a poolside bar. Nice terrace outside of rooms with string lights. Beach is a 3-5min walk. Free trolly on corner of 24th and collins. Liqour store on same corner. Beach towels at front desk and sometimes at the pool. Sun tanning lotion station at pool! No problem with seating at the pool. We used insta cart for food and used the free trolley to get around. Sometimes we walked because the trolleys would fall behind 20 mins or so. We are budget travelers and feel this place was definitely worth the money. You may want to know there is a daily resort fee that you will pay at the hotel if booking with expedia. ( not sure of booking straight through the hotel) A fellow traveler was not happy to learn that at check in. Happy Traveling!

There's a cluster of apartments right where you stay that have really cute lights at night. The communal area is fun and there was lizards everywhere. We also had a balcony to sit on and the beach was about a 10 minute walk

Overall poor standard, sofabed was virtually collapsed and completely unable to be used by an adult, and only just ok for a 4-yr old. Airconditioning units worked well but were exceptionally noisy, so had to be turned off at night. Broken tiles on the kitchen floor risked nasty cuts to feet. Room wasn't cleaned during our stay... not the biggest complaint, but would have been nice for at least one floor clean during a 5-night stay. Location was excellent though, so if you're on a really tight budget and don't mind somewhere less than ideal, this is great, but I'd strongly recommend looking around before you book

I booked this for two nights but ended up leaving after the first night due to several issues. I would’ve left the first night if I hadn’t been so exhausted after my travel day. There were several issues with the room including mystery, brown water, coming from the sink in the kitchen as well as water coming from behind the toilet, the bed was extremely lopsided and unusable, the light on the oven to indicate a burner being on was constantly on despite the burners being completely off and unused which indicated a potential electrical issue with the stove, the Wi-Fi never worked and I couldn’t change the channels on the TV, and the hot water in the shower only lasted for 60 seconds. All that being said, those weren’t the biggest issues. After I got back to the hotel after being out on a night tour, I found that my card wasn’t working to open the door so I had to go to the front desk to ask for a replacement key. When I did, the young man at the front desk asked me for my room number, but he did not ask for any identification or name on the reservation. The room also did not have any secondary locks on the door so these things concern me regarding my safety since anyone could just ask for a key and come in. When I went to check out the next morning, I spoke to the manager Elias about my concerns. He offered to move me to another room, but I explained to him that my biggest concern was safety as a solo female traveler. They refused to refund me for these issues.

The property is lovely and we were located near the pool, which was great. The room was alright, as it did need some upgrades (mainly flooring concerns) and the room wasn’t equipped with all essentials, which is alright but a bit inconvenient. Overall, our stay was enjoyable.

Loved the landscaping and the recently renovated apartments with their modern appliances. Staff was always friendly and cooperative. Location was ideal, being 5 minutes from the beach and 2 minutes from nearby free trolley stops. Free morning coffee was a delight. Stayed over two weeks.

Le personnel était dans son ensemble agréable ...les femmes déménagés tres très agréable mais le personnel d'accueil ne faisant pas d'effort. La chambre était dans son ensemble "usée". En revanche , l'emplacement et les extérieurs de l'hôtel m'ont énormément plu

Les espaces extérieurs étaient magnifiques, la piscine était très bien entretenus. La cuisine était bien équipé. Par contre l'appartement aurait de besoin d'entretien et le ménage était mal fait. Le ménage n'était pas fait des les corridors qui mène aux chambres.
