We had a corner room with two beds, not side by side. We could see the beach out of the side window. The room was nice, but I find the pictures make it look a bit brighter than they are. They do not have a phone in the room, which I thought was strange. If you had an emergency or needed anything, you'd have to go down to the desk. It is a boutique style hotel, so I wasn't expecting anything amazing. The front desk is very small. It's more like a normal desk. On check in, they didn't seem too welcoming, but just here's your room key. They didn't explain anything about their hotel. On check out, they did hold our luggage, with no problem, as we were waiting to go on a cruise. I loved the location of the hotel, right on the beach. There were quite a few restaurants to choose from. Overall, it was okay for a couple of nights, but I wouldn't want to stay there for any length of time.

Loved how close the hotel was to the Broadwalk and beach. 10 out of 10. I was slightly disappointed that the ice maker was not available to use the week I was there. The water pressure in the shower was not strong and the water got a lil hotter than lukewarm. The bathroom fan didn’t work. There was a button “smart mirror” that was a no go. I plugged my phone charger into an electrical cube and the power on the alarm clock and microwave crashed. Had to use an outlet away from the bed to charge phone. All not huge things but for the price I paid. I expected a bit more. Walls were thin and could hear everyone in the hallway and staircase very clearly.

I paid more than I wanted to for a nice weekend getaway with my boyfriend an I was disappointed. The balcony was beyond small and pushed right up next to the neighbors balcony which left no privacy. My balcony view was nonexistent with tens set up for an even they were having. I paid $30 per night for parking in a lot that was a block away from the hotel which anyone could’ve parked in.. the staff was rude, the shower was the size of a postage stamp and it was dirty. Black mold scattered around the shower. It was nice that I could walk downstairs and the beach was right there but again it was not worth it for the money I paid and next time should’ve just spent a few hundred more to stay at Margaritaville next door.

We had a little trouble finding the hotel, we actually came in through the back door, but once we were checked in, the staff was very helpful and explained everything to us, for example where to park. The room was clean, and everything worked. We absolutely loved how close we were to the beach and the boardwalk. We ended up not using our rental car very much since we could walk to tons of restaurants and shops.

Finding the place was questionable. You get there by what feels and is a one way ally. Then parking is behind a different building. You just hope someone else is not trying to get down the road while your trying to bring your stuff inside. I did not see any free breakfast but you could go outside and find places very close. The location is perfect and the beach is right there. Bathrooms are very small but freshly painted

A/C worked great. Spotlessly clean room. The staff were fantastic and Tiffany at the front desk was especially helpful. The hotel is right in front of the beach and there is a great view from the lobby where you can sit and have free coffee or water.

There were two good things about this hotel, 1 the location being right on the boardwalk near restaurants and shopping. 2 They provided beach chairs but only 2 and there were 3 of us. Our room didn’t cleaned until our 4th day there. I asked housekeeping on the 3rd day to clean our room because they didn’t the day before and all she did was change our trash. So I had to ask the front desk. When it did get cleaned, they either wiped all the sand into our luggage or dumped in on the luggage. I picked up my blanket that was folded on top of my suitcase and sand went flying. Not to mention they have cockroaches. I killed 3 in the bathroom at different times. Only one nice front desk staff member I encountered.

Excellent beach view from balcony room, very friendly and attentive staff, clean and colorful lobby with water, coffee, and tea available. Steps from the beach, boardwalk, and shops. Chairs and umbrella available. Our balcony room overlooked a cafe below which played loud music - this was not the fault of Hotel Sheldon but did impact our ability to rest/relax from this room.
