We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach and close to restaurants, shops, and other attractions, making everything easily accessible. The view was absolutely perfect and made our stay even more memorable. Waking up to such beautiful scenery was one of the highlights of our trip. The hotel was quiet, the beds were very comfortable, and the atmosphere was warm and relaxing. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located beach getaway with an amazing view.

I really enjoyed staying at the Starlite I had best the time In South Beach. The view from the room is spectacular and you are right there: it's best spot. Hotel staff are also very friendly and help you with any need.It's also very quiet. I thought you could hear the noise from street below but no noise at all, especially at night. Right in the center of Art Deco, I strongly reccomend Starlite also for the price!

I think the owners really need to consider updating this hotel! It looks old; the windows are due for an upgrade, the beds are too soft, and the pillows are hard! However, the staff service was excellent—truly excellent! It needs fumigation, though. It’s in a fantastic location in South Beach with everything nearby—that’s a huge plus! Another good thing is that, even though we had a room with street-facing windows, the outdated air conditioners drowned out the street noise.

The room was great. It had everything that I needed & the fridge & the air conditioning were a life saver! It was pushing up over 110 degrees on some days & having the air con on continuously kept the room at a very comfortable 68 degrees. The Starlite hotel's location so close to the beach on Ocean Drive is exceptional! Especially handy when going for a swim first thing in the morning

I wouldn’t rate this as a 3-star hotel. The room could have been cleaner, and the air conditioning did not cool the room adequately. The staff were friendly and helpful, which was a plus. Overall, the hotel feels outdated, but you get what you pay for.

Friendly staff, the room was exactly what I needed. I got early check-in which was $25. I got a little upgrade because of early check-in (ocean view). The Star Lite hotel was exactly where I wanted to be & it fit my vacation lifestyle. I would stay here again!

Had an awesome stay! Room was clean and bed was comfy. Location was 10/10. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Nothing fancy if you plan on staying in the room all day but awesome as a place for getting ready and spending the night. Definitely getting your money's worth. Will be staying there next time we're in miami. :)

We stayed at the Starlite Hotel as a family of four with 2 adults and 2 teens, and we had a wonderful experience. Before booking, we did our research and knew this was a historic hotel, so we had realistic expectations when we arrived. If you're expecting a brand new luxury hotel, this isn't it, but don't let the age of the building discourage you. The convenience and location more than make up for it. Our room was comfortable, and the bed was very cozy. We appreciated having a refrigerator, beach towels, and complimentary soaps and lotions. One of the biggest perks was being able to do laundry before heading home. It made traveling so much easier! Just be sure to bring quarters, laundry detergent, and dryer sheets if you plan to use the laundry facilities. We also loved the easy, free access to ice and cold water, which was absolutely essential in the Miami heat. The staff was incredible, especially Patti, who made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. The location and view were unbeatable. We had an ocean view room, and even though you're right on Ocean Drive, we didn't find the street noise or lights unbearable. The beach was just steps away, CVS was right next door, and there were countless restaurants, shops, and attractions within walking distance. It truly had everything our family needed for a fun and convenient stay. The only minor drawback was that the walls are a little thin, so you may neighbors, but other than that, it was a great stay!

Super cool being so close to the beach and on the beach walk super convenient for going to south Miami and the hotel itself was okay just somewhere to stay. But the staff was again okay at first then as I’m going up the elevator two lady’s were talking pretty sure about me. because we wanted to check in early we got there at 5 am and had to wait till 4pm to check in and was obviously super tired. And I was super cool about it was more then willing to pay the early check in fee was super respectful to them and greatly appreciated them trying to get us in early. And the two lady’s then proceeded to say I’m the worst and needy and joked about just having me check out. They didn’t know I could hear there loud mouths. And even if it wasn’t about me why say that about your guest were paying money for your service so what if we are needy that’s how if freaking works. But expect for that decent place.

My room was clean and everything was functional. There are certainly plenty of complaints about Miami Beach hotels where these things weren't true! But the Starlite is a minimalist hotel: there was a bed and a dresser, no chairs, no table, not even any plastic cups in the bathroom (but nicely arranged soap and shampoo). No ice machine, no lobby furniture. In fact no lobby, just a little enclosure for the receptionist with most of the space taken up by a hamburger restaurant. There was a refrigerator in the room, but it's hard to see what you'd ever put in it. Leftovers from a restaurant meal? You'll be eating them cold, because there's no microwave anywhere on the premises. So, I'd say what you get is OK, but you might wish for a few more amenities.
