When I arrived the room was dirty and smelled like smoke I was quite shocked and even scared to use anything there I went and bought my own toiletries and I had to have them deep, clean and take everything down and wash it because it’s reeked of smoke in the room was filthy. The staff was really friendly and nice and understanding, but the overall room was quite disturbing. They could use professional cleaners. Even got to witness a police raid at another hotel down the street

The room was clean and comfortable. But we found a piece of underwear in the bathroom. There was no one to inform. Also there is no vending machines available. Overall it was okay for a one night stay.

The worst place I’ve ever booked on Expedia. The smell in the room was horrible. It’s nothing like the pictures. People yelling all night. There was one woman screaming from 7 A.M until about 10A.M. When you tell the front desk they just say “Oh” I wouldn’t stay here again ever.

Quiet and relaxing retreat

The tub was perfect I didn't bother with the jets but relaxing and quiet. The staff was very friendly. Definitely my new relaxation spot I will be back. The farm store is near for all your needs food and etc within walking distance no need to drive. The bed was very comfortable almost did a late check out 😀.

The room had a really strong smell, a lot of hair all over the room. The room was dirty, I asked for a broom and swept the floors myself (see pics). If you don’t speak Spanish you’re dead in the water.

No hot water at all, two lights where the mirror is located were out. Terrible experience for $150.00 I do not recommend this place, a lot of movement with vespas bikes and people acting strange and strong smell weed outside parking lot

The room is barren, looks nothing like the photos, no paint on the walls, no headboard, barely any furniture. Just a bed, a side table with a wonky lamp, dresser, tv, and mini fridge. Sort of a musty odor inside. I arrived late because of delayed flights, and had to knock on the window for a while before a man appeared, who did not speak English. Was able to get into my room. The following morning I wanted to see if there was a Wifi password since my cell service was weak there, and I could not find anyone at all. When I checked out, had the same problem, couldn't find anyone. I left my key in the slot and hoped for the best.

The room was dirty, meaning the linen (towels, hot tub, water in the hot tub at hottest point was lukewarm and there was mold around the air conditioner. Furthermore, they didnt disinfect the hot tub because after attempting to get into it i have developed an allergic reaction.....

Here are two polished, honest review options you can use for Galveston Cove Hotel. Both are firm and factual, without exaggeration. Detailed & Professional My stay at Galveston Cove Hotel from December 26–27 was extremely disappointing and far below acceptable standards. The hot water barely worked, making it difficult to shower comfortably. The microwave in the room was heavily rusted, which is unacceptable and raises serious hygiene concerns. Even more troubling was the presence of mold in the room, creating an unpleasant and unhealthy environment during my stay. These issues clearly indicate poor maintenance and lack of attention to basic guest comfort and safety. When I arrived in this hotel from a taxi, I was told that the this location has been converted to a COVID treatment center for months. This was a total shock to me: How could Expedia allows me to complete the booking process for this hotel just like any other hotels? I was forced to find anther hotel on spot to survive a night. What a horrible experience.
