Although we only stayed one night I loved the charm of the hotel. We had our own apartment style unit that was accessed through this outdoor corridor with breathtaking views. The attached restaurant had its fair share of character. All staff I ran into were very helpful

We booked this hotel just to see the nightlife before we go to the resort and I regret not having my whole trip here. Amazing location, very clean and big rooms, super comfy, close to ALOT of stuff. And very reasonable prices. Definitely coming back.

Hotel was in the perfect location - close to beach, restaurants, & shopping. The restaurant had awesome Cuban food and our server was excellent - ate there two nights. All staff were friendly and had a great atmosphere.

Good experience at Dorchester

Great location, spacious units. One block away from the beach. Currently the swimming pool is not open, but hotel offered access to the pool at neighboring property (Marseilles). Overall, very happy with the stay and will be back again.

Small suite hotel very close to beach

Nice old style-feeling hotel, very quiet although centally located. Big suite, with full kitchen, pool. All what you need. Comfortable bed. For me a hidden gem.

I went to South Beach on a wim and found this inexpensive older hotel but I was presently surprised. I booked a suite and yes its older but the room was huge, nice decor and clean. Great amenities and allowed early check in. I would honestly book again.

The Dorchester is a 'tired' property. However, the rooms (mini efficiencies) are very spacious. Lot of areas to move without feeling crowded like smaller hotel rooms. WARNING; there are no elevators to the wing where most guests are staying. So if you have heavy luggage then prepare to horse the suitcases if you're on the second (top) floor, Beds hard, lots of pillows. The bar and restaurant downstairs makes very good drinks. The restaurant food is farely good. Get there early enough to have their housemade empenadas. Worth it.

Great location on South Beach ⛱️. Nice people. Hotel and the apartments have a old smell to them which is hard to ignore. Apartment was spacious and had more than we needed. Kitchen, living room, family room and master bedroom. The bed was definitely old. TV sucked. Only a few analog channels. We were charged an additional 35$ for resort fees for access to beach across the street. Supposed to get complementary chairs e lumbrellas.We heading there now. Overall the price was fair especially for this time of year and perfect of you're on a budget. Thanks
