It’s an older condo building, in a residential condo area, at the end of a tree lined street (loved that). The location is GREAT! and so was the parking, you can take any spot. I don’t know if someone is there in the office 24 hrs. but I’m glad I got there when Marco (the owner) & his wife were there, bc they leave the room open and the key (a regular real door key) inside the room. The room was nice & big, nice outdoor pool, balcony, full kitchen, love the bedroom loft upstairs with comfy bed! This place would be GOLD MINE if it was updated. It def needs updating, The room kinda smelled like bad perfume trying to cover up other odors, they didn’t give you enough towels, or a garbage (only a small one in the bathroom), so I just put a plastic bag on the closet door knob (next to the kitchen) for my garbage & the tub had some stains, but honestly none of this bothered me. I would stay here again.

We checked into our 2 bedroom suite that we paid for, up front, 4 months earlier only to be put into a 1 bedroom loft for a mom and two large teenage boys. The loft is upstairs and has a queen bed. I booked two bedrooms for a reason. I got no sleep being kicked by a teenager. The only thing they offered us as compensation was a full discount so we could go elsewhere. Where else could we go in Miami during spring break? The only thing available is the Ritz for $10,000 next-door. While we were out they came in and put a massive queen sized air mattress in the middle of our living/dining space. Did not solve the problem that we paid for two bedrooms and got one. Their great solution only made our room uglier and more cluttered. They act like I’m crazy for being upset that I was sold two bedrooms, paid for them, and only got one. I expect bare bones from this place. I have been here before. But I expect to get what I paid for. This was a switcheroo. They claimed that the system changed my booking to a loft with one bedroom. It’s impossible to believe that the system did that all on its own. They didn’t like that they had sold us a room at the price I paid during Black Friday when I planned this. They decided to sell our room to someone else at a higher price and downgrade us. Totally dishonest. Everyone I talked to said that they needed to ask someone else, check with someone else, they didn’t know, weren’t in charge etc… This is my 3rd visit here and it will be my last.

Nothing terribly bad but not good either. At 4pm, check in time, our room wasn't ready. After a 25 min wait, we were able to enter our room. All floors were wet, room was at 82 degrees, one of the bathrooms was still dirty. Not enough towels, no hand soap, not rug or mat for the bathroom floor. The kitchen was not better. Fridge had a smell, after finding a very dirty glass I just stopped checking. They also never gave us the key to access the beach, but they asked for it at check out, so I don't know what will happen with this. The building needs a lot of maintenance. The pictures are far from reality. The employees were nice. I like Key Biscayne, might very well return, but I won't stay here again.

My first room was grimy and dirty. Stains on the walls, mold in the bathroom, moldy shower curtain. Floors were dirty could take shoes off. I changed rooms. It was similar in both rooms. Less mold in the second. No soap provided, no extra rolls of toilet paper. Over alll, rundown and disappointing.

I’m not adverse to staying at budget motels but this was worse than any place I’ve ever stayed and I looked forward to checking out. Upon arrival, I was unable to locate the office so I called and got a text, “Sorry I can’t talk right now.” Once I indicated I was checking in, I received a call. I was given the room number and told the keys were inside. No ID needed? Taking a rickety elevator that I’m shocked was up to code (no papers posted to indicate otherwise), we entered the room. A few minutes later a man tried entering the room asking if I worked there and he said a sign was posted that a reception was in my room. After a brief grilling about who I was, I texted to confirm my room number, she confirmed but said nothing in response to my concerns about the man. I have no problem with dated hotels but this wasn’t the issue. The door barely opened and there was a large stain on the floor, rust?, from the door scraping as it opened. The room needed a better cleaning, we only used the refrigerator and purchased paper products. The blinds weren’t all functional- the one in the bathroom wouldn’t close nor would the large window above the sliding door. The toilet ran all night so clearly had a leak. The steps also seemed unsteady, particularly at the first landing. A guest had a dog that barked all day. The elevator was turned off in the evening which was an inconvenience with a big suitcase in tow but management didn’t respond to my concerns about it. Don’t recommend!!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay really missed the mark. The apartment was noticeably dirty upon arrival, which immediately set the tone. The dishwasher didn’t work and was filled with gross, stagnant water—honestly pretty off-putting. On top of that, the furniture was in terrible condition and uncomfortable, making it hard to relax at all. Overall, it felt like the place hadn't been properly maintained or cleaned in a while. Definitely not what I expected, and I wouldn’t stay here again.

We stayed in a loft apartment. The bathroom and kitchen was a bit outdated, but we didn’t mind. The staff was very friendly. I loved the amount of space you get with these and the beach is only about a 5-minute walk. The location Is great in general If you're not renting a car, most things were a 10-15 minute walk from the apartment.

No hot water unless me you run the water for over 10-15 mins before getting in. They left a used dirty soap bar with some brown stuff on it in bathroom. Elevator is sketchiest elevator I’ve seen in a long time. Consistent noise outside. TVs are so cheap and outdated it’s sad. I couldn’t wait to leave.

Nice private beach access and beach itself is nice with decent waves and clean sand. Pool also nice. Location is good and centrally located in Key Biscayne. Rooms are quite spacious with two floors. WiFi somewhat unreliable. Resort fee higher than what's on website. No daily housekeeping "due to CDC rules". No answer to phone calls but did answer to texts and on the expedia app quite quickly. Despite these issues, would still stay here again due to the price and location and beach access.

Truthfully, contactless check-in was a challenge for me. However, if you can appreciate no frills, clean and accessible to beach and relaxation. This is your place! The staff is welcoming. They even have a luggage caddy and elevator to help you in and out.

Simply lovely. Down-to-earth, old school homey apartment, where you are free to cook for yourself if you want to, drink on the veranda, hang out in spacious rooms, and it is literally a five minute walk from a private beach shared with the Ritz Carlton, as well as a five minute drive from the best restaurant in the area, Costa Med. To those who have written less favorable reviews, I would say, if you've got such high standards, you should spend $1000-$3000 a night next door at the Ritz. A mere ten times the price. For the rest of us, this is a sheer joy, and a beautiful bargain to boot.

We stayed 12 nights. We are very low maintenance when it comes to staying someplace during a vacation. We don't prefer daily housekeeping and can take care of things ourselves. The loft was very nice for our needs. The furnishings were a bit outdated and sparse - not what the photos represent. Again, for our needs, it was fine. The kitchen had enough supplies for us to fix basic meals when we wanted to eat in. It had a coin operated washer and dryer available downstairs for laundry. The private beach access was about 4 to 5 minutes from the property. We didn't use the outdoor pool, but it was clean and decent sized. The courtyard surrounding it was beautiful and they had several lounge chairs available for laying in the sun. The property itself is well maintained, but definitely dated compared to the surrounding properties. Signage for finding the office from the exterior of the building would be helpful for first time visitors. The manager and staff are very friendly. This property is located on Key Biscayne which is a 20 minute drive from Miami and on a toll road. There is a park on each end of the Island with a lot of public beach access. There are grocery stores, a CVS, local parks and many restaurants within walking distance.

Filthy, not for the faint of heart. And imagine my surprise when I show up to check in & they charge another $24+ US per day. Then blamed the third party booking platform for not telling me about these additional 'resort' fees. For a dump. I asked them why they didn’t mention this to me in their emails to me & they said it was up to the booking website. Lol! TV didn’t work, but at least the wifi & AC did. A dirty neglected place. The advertising pics do not resemble this place. It's like the folks who run this place are intentionally trying to sink it. The beach was wonderful & a close walk. Would never stay here again & plan on following up to recommend removing them from third party site & seeing what I can do to get the addition scam daily fees refunded. A true disappointment. Shysters.

This is an old 1950s gem. So, as long as you go in understanding that, you will enjoy it. The walk to the beach is 5 min. Beach is lovely. Kitchen was poorly equipped. The couch that was supposed be a bed for our adult daughter was too small. Our our balcony, the view is The Ritz Carlton. We paid $200 a nite and Ritz was $1900 per nite. Point is, you get what you pay for and $200 per nite was our price point.
