The breakfast is better then the ordinary breakfast in the area thanks to fresh tomato salads and eggs made with a talent. The owner was very helpful too. Theres not much to see in metta itself but there are a few good resturants (especially tavernetta cinquatotto which worth a visit even if you don't stay in the town). "Lovely family owned accommodation which is part of a former monastery, where they have a large family room and two double en suite rooms with king sized beds. Very kind and pleasant family. Secure parking provided. Bus stop nearby for Sorrento. Train station is in Meta. Amazing views of the Gulf of Naples from the garden area where you have breakfast. Excellent restaurant nearby called Tavernetta cinquantotto with a well trained chef. Down the road there is a public lift to and from the beach...

"Our favorite stay on our month trip, it was a very beautiful town with black sand beaches. Great restaurants with volleyball courts on the beach. Bus stop is right down road. Beautiful art inside building, was apartment like, 2 stories with 2 bathrooms, the full bedroom upstairs was nice but bed was uncomfortable so slept on couch and pull out bed. Very beautiful place, very close to Sorrento. "

"The staff did not give us breakfast, saying it was not included. I showed the hotel details “breakfast included” but he said no. There are a lot of mosquitoes in the perking area. Luckily it wasn't in the room. The road leading out of the hotel is really narrow, making it difficult for large vehicles."

"Was great staying there. It was clean and well organized. The pool was bliss for when we decided not to go to the beach. They offered a discount card for us to borrow while we were there. The man who checked us in was super friendly and explained everything to us patiently so we'd understand. Our balcony overlooked the pool... Though we couldn't see the ocean. I'm certain no room can unless you're in the one with roof access. Overall was a beautiful time spent that we wished we could have...

"Great value for your money! We had a spacious villa with a table and chairs to sit outside overlooking Sorrento. The pools were great. Water slides to the busy pool and a second pool for adults only with great views as well. Ample on-site parking. Walk down to the beach is about 300 stairs so don't forget anything! Nice small beach with good snorkeling/swimming. "
