"A Comfortable and Convenient Stay in Progreso
I had a pleasant stay at Playa Linda Hotel in Progreso, Mexico. The staff were very helpful, friendly and welcoming, making the overall experience enjoyable.
The room was clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning and clean, comfortable beds. Fresh towels, body soap and hand soap were also provided, which was appreciated.
I would recommend this hotel to solo travellers and couples looking for a simple, comfortable and affordable place to stay while visiting Progreso. It’s a good option if you’re looking to relax, unwind and enjoy a few days by the coast.
Overall, a pleasant stay with helpful staff and clean, comfortable accommodation. I would happily recommend it to others visiting Progreso!
Enjoy the stay! ☀️🇲🇽"
"The room was clean and organized. Water and soda included with check in. Also free coffee and water downstairs. The room is big, the bathroom is also, breakfast was well worth it with made to order eggs/omelettes. It’s on the outskirts of the center of town but the walking wasn’t terrible. Blow dryer in the room overheats and it turns off for about ten minutes at a time so make sure to wash your hair and have time to dry it. Other than that, everything went well. I’d be back. Didn’t get to use other amenities unfortunately."
"The staff was very kind. The place is good because it’s new and that makes it feel good but the cleanliness is not there. I had to clean stuff of with Clorox whips because the light switches were black and gross. There is like junk on the wall next to the garages in the bathroom and the bedroom garbage. We stayed in two different rooms and both had the same problems. Toothpaste splattered on the wall. Short curly in the bathroom sink. It was there when we walked in. In the first bathroom the shower drain did not drain. I could see hair stuck in the drain that was long black hair. I am a blond. They are small details but gross me out haha. The tile in the bathroom is beautiful. The rooms are huge which is amazing. The cost is great. The staff kind as ever. In fact our maid left my towels on the counter in the room like I asked because I don’t love them sitting above the toilet it grosses me out. haha. So very kind and yes I left her a tip for doing so. Just a good training on cleaning and upkeep and the place would get my 5 stars."
