"Really nice hotel with good staff looking after you. A couple of minor things that we picked up on were that the room we were in had a lack of sockets for charging devices. It only had one with a usb port attached to it. That made things awkward for us when charging phones, watches, kindle and vape. It was a constant swapping things over and leaving things behind to charge while we went out. The other issue being there was no tea or coffee facilities in the room. This might have been said before booking the room and I might have missed it but it’s the first hotel I’ve stayed in that didn’t have this in the room. Altogether it’s in a great location with good value and we would stay here again."

"The hotel is undergoing renovations and upgrading. While our room was on the worn and dated side, the bed itself was comfortable and the bedding was lovely. The staff were very kind and helpful. The biggest surprise was the breakfast! Thanks to Alidair I was able to get some fried eggs! It was a hot selection and very fresh. The downside for senior or handicap travellers is that there is no level entrance to the hotel. You have to go up a side street, in through a side door and through a renovation area. There was no mention of this on the website. Overall, it was a good stay that is very central to Glasgow."
