Beautiful hotel lobby and very friendly staff. Location can be a challenge to get to if the roads are snowy. 4WD / snow tire or chains a must in winter.

If you're looking for an onsen experience this is the place! We were welcomed as we drove up the windy mountain road to the hotel. The check in experience was calm and efficient. Dinner, breakfast and private bath times chosen. The baths are wonderfull, overlooking the river and with views down the forested valley. Dinner and breakfast were amazing, although our kids sadly didn't feel adventurous enough. It was a truly magical experience on our first trip to Japan.

本が沢山置いてあり、雰囲気が良く居心地も良かったです。 夕飯は量もちょうど良く美味しかったです。 お部屋からの景色もよく、室内着が作務衣なのも快適で良かったです。

頑張っている旅館

従業員の方々はとても頑張っていました。施設はリノベーションして綺麗になっている中で、所々、気になる箇所が目に入り少し残念。夕食は工夫を感じる内容で美味しく頂きました。この宿泊料でこの料理であればコストパフォーマンスの良い旅館だと思います。
