"Room was spacious and clean - everything up to date for a 20 year old hotel. Great location near Lake Sumter downtown. Good restaurant and outdoor pool and hot tub were very clean. Would highly recommend."

"Absolutely horrible experience. I booked this Motel 6 through Expedia, and when I arrived, the room was filthy. The beds smelled strongly like sweat and cigarette completely unacceptable. I was so disgusted that I could not stay there. I had to leave immediately and find another hotel in the middle of the night with my family, which was extremely stressful and inconvenient. The place also felt very unsafe, making the situation even worse. This experience was unacceptable from start to finish. I am extremely disappointed and expect a full refund for this stay. I do not recommend this place to anyone."

"After reading current reviews I thought, ok maybe things are better. NO - I was wrong. If you're spending 1 night here - maybe it's ok. But 1st room I walked into had a mechanical - maybe pipe sound in the bathroom - asked to be changed which they did. Black stains on comforter, no clock no kleenex in room. Shampoo no conditioner. "Shower" curtain is not waterproof so it leaks on the floor and they only given you 1 bathroom small floor towel .Light shade broken. Plastic like your grandma's house in 1970 on all lights. Free breakfast - only 1 waffle maker worked to countdown. Had to ask every 2 days for garbage’s to be emptied. "Pool" - teeny tiny - don't believe the pictures, it is teeny. Electrical outlet on day 3 - microwave continuous beeping, light bulb flickered, TV turned on and off - spooky - I complained and maintenance came quick to put in an extension cord. I would recommend this for 1 night, but more than 1 night no way. And only if you're on a budget. Also - location is good EXCEPT - extremely noisy and at night due to highway."

"It's a very good and quiet hotel, even though it's right next to the highway. They could do a little remodeling, but they keep the rooms clean and tidy and provide all the basics, even shampoo and body wash. The breakfast has a good variety: eggs, waffles, sausages, oatmeal, etc. The staff is generally very attentive."
