「The room was way to cold and we could not control the temp. I finally complained and found out that the front desk was in control of the temps. The bed cover was too warm and the mattress was not comfortable. It was too soft with a deep valley in the middle.」

「Loved staying in the proprietor’s house! Beautiful and very clean! The bike shed was also nice to keep our bikes locked up. We didn’t care for the plastic pillow coverings on the bed because they were not very comfortable to sleep on. We would recommend Green Gables as a great place to stay!」

「Or hostess, Marg, was so friendly and helpful and made delicious breakfasts for us. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch of this lovely property during the early morning and evenings. We were visiting while biking the lovely root river trail in the area. It was nice to be able to store our bikes in the garage at the end of each day. Our accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the skylights were a bonus. We hope to visit again.」
