"I booked this motel for my family who were visiting Auckland to spend Christmas with me, and I was hoping to find somewhere close to the ocean, as we all love the beach. From the moment I made the booking, the motel owner contacted me and suggested a suite with separate sleeping areas, which was perfect for our family and gave us extra space. The owner and staff could not have been more helpful — they even allowed early access so I could decorate the suite for Christmas and surprise my family. The motel is just a few minutes from a beautiful beach and a lovely café, both of which we visited many times during our stay. This place is incredibly welcoming and relaxed, truly a home away from home. We loved everything about it and will definitely be returning again and again. I honestly can’t recommend this place highly enough. It was a wonderful experience, and we will always cherish the special memories we made here. Thank you so much xx"

"Great stay in clean comfortable room. I enjoyed my balcony view with patio chairs. Bathroom was well supplied with towels, shampoo, shower gel and hand soap pumps. Also had a mini fridge and clothes iron with table attached. The staff was lovely and accommodating. I didn't have breakfast in my package, so I can't critique that. But there are plenty of food options nearby and grocery store within couple blocks."

We ended up needing an extra night so we booked via a different website and the staff combined our two reservations and even switched us rooms when a fan wasn’t working to an upgraded view! We were so extremely comfortable and it was the perfect location right in main Devonport a one minute walk to the ferry which we took everyday downtown."

"I enjoyed this hotel. It appear to be newly built and very quiet location. I would say it’s perfect if you have a vehicle, but a bit far if you want to walk anywhere. I stayed in a room the was apartment style. I had a great view and room and kitchen were clean. "
