「Russel and Nicky made us feel very welcome and at home , the breakfast are amazing and worth a revisit alone ! The room was clean and tidy , the en-suite was spacious and the views from our windows over the river were great . We had bedroom 3 and the river runs directly outside and the sounds and views of the river are very relaxing . We would highly recommend to anyone wanting a lovely quiet peaceful break with lovely walks right on your doorstep.. we will be back for sure 」

「Really enjoyed our stay in the Rock House. Checked in at the sister hotel The Rising Sun just over the bridge. Perfect location wise to explore Lynemouth, lovely sea view, bar with beer garden, clean room and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend」

「Lovely quirky hotel. Staff were fab. Food was lovely and best mussels I’ve had, beating many good French restaurants. Bed was slightly uncomfortable as sloping a bit one way and a pillow menu would be good as I prefer really soft down ones. Good hot showers and loved the windows opening wide as sleep with fresh air even in winter so suited us well. Loved the lounge to sit in quietly as well on a drizzly day. 10/10」

She checked me in, instructed me where to park my car, advised where to get dinner because they didn't provide evening meals, served my drink in the bar, laid my table for my brought in take away dinner and then cleared up and still managed to do some cleaning. She made my evening very easy and pleasant. I couldn't ask for more. 」
