「Cosy place with good breakfast」

「The taps for hot and cold water did not work properly. Sometimes it is very hot and sometimes very cold. There was always no one at the reception. Although the workers in the lodge were very helpful, we needed to look for them. We also discovered that the clean towels were left on the floor for changing the dirty ones. In fact, the bedsheets and blankets would not be changed except that you asked them to do so. The beds were too old that they were too soft. I think the cleaners only tidied up...

「Great base for Loughborough Uni, lovely village for a walk. The room was spacious and quiet. Breakfast was good but started a bit late on the weekend at 9am. We also ate in the pub and both meals and service was excellent. Easy parking.」

「This is never a 4 star hotel! I was really disappointed, Expedia said breakfast was included but they don’t even serve breakfast. Waited 20 minutes in the morning to check out and no one was in reception. Another lady also checked out and said her room smelled of smoke and didn’t feel safe in the hotel. The lady when checking in was really nice and accommodating but the hotel itself was really poor! I think it’s more of a 2 star hotel and I won’t stay there again. 」

「The best hotel, among the six hotels, i had stayed in our recent trip to the UK. Not only does thw hotel has tidy and spacious family room, the toilet is clean and the breakfast is wonderful and the room rate is very attractive. The only drawback is that there is no lift for our room at upper floor. In sum, an excellent hotel which i am ready to patronize or recommend to ky friends. 」

「Absolutely awful. No housekeeping despite our requests during our entire stay. We could not even get a hold of staff as no one was at the reception or restaurant. We had to phone the hotel via the general number online and ask to be put through to the hotel chain. Extremely poor cleanliness, there were stains all over the bedsheets, chairs and a strong odour of urine in the room, carpets and bathroom. Filthy toilet, grubby bedroom and all surfaces were full of stains and spillages. The towels...

「Rooms clean and spacious, staff very friendly and pleasant 」

「Clean room, friendly staff. Loved relaxing in the pool and sauna before dinner in the restaurant on site. Lovely start to our holiday and easy walk to departures. 」

「So bad. We just arrived around 20 minutes and then they ask us to pay for charge of bath with no reason. I’ve no idea why but the manager told us cuz we have arrived 20 minutes so we need afford the charge of bath. 」
