This is an old pub with all of the character you would expect. The location is great and the staff are excellent. It is not the Ritz - but it is clean and affordable. Can be some ambient noise, but that depends on room and time of night. Breakfast was excellent - poached eggs with smoked salmon. Lots of choices.

We stayed for 4 nights. Its a great place to see the area. Hotel owners are amazing people Staff were all helpful and pleasant.THE food was fantastic value would definitely tell everyone to eat in,hotel was a bit dated but to say it was built in the 17th century it's in good order. Hopefully we will be returning in the near future.
