The resort was amazing. Friendly staff, good food and just an amazing vibe. Their standard rooms are a little dated but with limited time spent there, it was all good. Great location for safely walking into the city and taking in some of the culture.

Addition to previous comments. The parking is about 1/4 mile away. My ticket on entrance noted the fee at $15. In Mexico I assumed it was pesos. Why not. On leaving I found out it was USD. $45 USD for my stay.
