「The Inn was comfortable and there's a car park nearby. There's a pub at the ground floor and another one opposite the inn. A supermarket is about 100-200 feet away so it's quite convenient. You can reach southern Devon's costal attraction within an hour's (by car). A natural reserve is also very close.」

「The Anchor Inn is an absolute gem! The rooms are a good size and well-appointed, if perhaps a little dated. Super friendly and accommodating staff, nothing was too much trouble. The real surprise was the restaurant. I would recommend trying out the food, even if you're not staying at the Inn. The food was locally sourced, all fresh and well prepared and presented. All in all a very pleasant two night stay. I would highly recommend, and have recommended The Anchor Inn to family and...

「We stayed for one night only and the reception was friendly. We bought a plug-in air freshener as the room smelt funky. The single bed was uncomfortable. Very noisy at night due to karaoke - but this was the summer in Paignton so I guess it’s normal. Hotel is near the main strip so very convenient. 」
