"Reception was pleasant and fast, room was clean and looked newly renovated"

"The receptionist and the cleaning staff were absolutely amazing. They were very kind and helpful if you needed anything. The room had a heavy chemical smell and the ground was sticky. We asked if it can be mopped again and they were very kind to help with that. The manager on the other hand is not great at communicating or I might assume she was racist. We were taking pictures downstairs and she automatically assumed we were not guests and asked us to leave. The first thing she should have asked was “Are you guests here?” Or “Please, can I see your room card?” Before assuming that we were just random people who walked in to take pictures. With a hotel of high standard, they should train their staff better in communicating as to not appear racist because it felt like a racial assumption. "

"Paid for a “city view” room, only view I got was if the Netflix building across the street. The floors in my room were sticky. Tried making changes to my booking days prior, but no one ever got back to me."

"I’ve stayed here many times but this time I was not pleased at all. I asked for towels at 730 am then again at 930 am never got them. "

"The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was very good with a short walk to a couple of subway stations with connections to multiple lines and within walking distance of the Brooklyn Bridge. Cons: The wifi connection was extremely slow, virtually unusable. The breakfast was terrible! The scrambled eggs cold and almost empty. The potstickers were dried out and cold as well. The coffee was empty and only refilled after we had finished. There no one around to be seen to ask about items which were out. The selection was also poor."
