「The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was not bad, they could have been a little more friendly, but they were polite. The overall property was very clean, it was just very used. Stains on surfaces, scuffs on walls, general overuse. The evening cocktail hour snacks and the breakfast were ok. Very much your typical hotel breakfast not great, but a little protein to start the day. Overall we would stay again for the price. 」

「The room was very clean. The person who cleans the room takes extra steps to make it special. We really appreciated the attention to details. The place is an older building and has an older style but it is kept up. It was quiet and I felt extremely safe. We had the jetted tub room. The water gets hot and it fills up fast. I have stayed in so many rooms where that has been a problem but it wasn’t the case here. The tub size is decent. We are bigger people and we both could fit in it. If we...

「The hotel was recently built (less than 5 years) and things are pretty new. It’s about 10 minutes driving distance from downtown Iowa City. There are shopping mall and tons of restaurants near the hotel. Staff are very friendly.」
