「The room was spacious, clean, bright and comfortable. The included breakfast was freshly made and delicious. The have a beautiful cozy garden space with seating and a shed which has a sitting area and coffee. The innkeepers are wonderful.」

「We loved the Ocean room, which was spacious and had a large bathroom and a little, well appointed, kitchenette. It was very comfortable and clean. Everyone we met was lovely. They are dog friendly and that worked well for us! Breakfast was not lavish or hot, but adequate- yogurt, pastries , fruit and coffee. My one quibble- the Inn is in a residential area about a 20-25 minute walk from any restaurants or shopping. So you had to drive, uber or plan to walk for 45 min (rt) if going to dinner or...

「Interesting place to stay! The estate really is beautiful, and my room was very spacious. The AC was a little wonky but otherwise no issues with anything in the room. Shower and tv worked fine. I saw some reviews saying guests couldn’t get in touch with the staff but they answered me pretty quickly when I contacted them. All in all a pretty enjoyable stay」

「The hotel was very close to all the scenic spots. The staff was helpful. The rooms where clean and there was a pick and go breakfast sandwiches, juices and snacks. Plenty of parking. They are not pet friendly but did make a special arrangement with me and my small dog. I am very grateful.」

Katie behind the front desk was terrific with knowledge of where to go and do in Newport... pitching in as needed o every aspect of running Gilded. Decor was funky and fun with lots of vibrant colors. Will definitely be back!」

Extremely comfy bed with beautiful decor, and effective air conditioning. Walking distance to the best, most vibrant area of Newport. We only wish we could have stayed longer! We would recommend emailing with any special requests separately as they did not seem to be receiving messages we sent through Expedia.」
