「Incredible location close to everything, friendly staff, good value. The rooms are basic but comfortable, with nice views, lots of amenities including kettle, full bath. Llangollen is a beautiful, friendly town with local shops/no franchises. There are wonderful walks along canals to waterfalls, deserted abbeys. 」

「Perfect location to explore the area. We were there for the Llangollen Round - a 35 mile event - and it was the perfect place to begin. We had an amazing outdoor space which we used all the time as the weather was kind to us. We ate outside too as there wasn't a table for 4 accessible without having to move furniture about in the lounge. 「Room was not the room that I paid for. I asked for a quadruple and was given a triple but was still charged for the quadruple. 」

「It was a nice place and clean until we pulled the sofa bed out and it was dirty, a quick hover wouldn't have done it any harm. Overall its a nice place to stay, we did try and phone the numbers given to inform of the condition of the sofa bed however not one number was answered, we ended up getting the caretaker, who was 100% helpful」

「A perfect stay and will definitely be back. Easy check in, the rooms, 1 and 2, were fantastic and great for the dogs. The facilities in the room were everything we needed. 「Food was wonderful. Room was very clean, with a lovely tray of tea, coffee and biscuits. They have an information pack in the room that gives all relevant information. They have information available for walks in the local area. It is in the middle of nowhere, so use the restaurant if here for a night. 」

「Booked because of the spa, such a disappointment. Tiles missing out of the steam room, only noticed as it wasn’t working, not one shower in the spa area working, had to go into changing rooms to shower down after sauna etc. water fountain not working. Changing rooms not much better, locker had key code locking, difficult to find one that actually worked, hair drier not working either. Such a shame it’s being run down as could be stunning.」
