"Great price for the room. Comfy and clean bed, clean bathroom, towells, all small space but perfect for one person, the extra kids beds could be removed in the room6 and extra space gained for a table etc. As I don’t feel it would be suitable for a family as quite small space. The biggest improvement would be upgrading the windows to modern double glazing as the road noise is a problem (I had earplugs with me as read the reviews before) No noise from the pub at all (on a thursday night I stayed), also not overcrowded and I feel like the guests had been spread out through the property. Good central location, parking next door (co-op -through Justpark -for only 6£ for 2days. Kettle, cups and tea/coffee/sugar provided. Maybe reading lamp or bedside lamp could be added but that is just a small detail. Check in good, all the info recieved just after 16.00 through email and text. Overall happy with my stay, so thank you to the owners"

"I'm afraid that we're extremely disappointed with the state if this property. It smells of damp and water ingress everywhere, with stains and skirting hanging off, there's an overpowering smell and generally uncleandownstairs bedroom. I'm not sure how you can charge for this. "

"Lovely house. Home from home. Double beds were small and it only has one bathroom/but we managed. A few issues in contacting the property people to help us get in, but otherwise it well. "

"Perfect location to explore the area. We were there for the Llangollen Round - a 35 mile event - and it was the perfect place to begin. We had an amazing outdoor space which we used all the time as the weather was kind to us. We ate outside too as there wasn't a table for 4 accessible without having to move furniture about in the lounge. The TV we gave up with as too small to see and we were just enjoying having a chat anyway. The kitchen appliances were fantastic but could have done with a better selection of pans to cook with . There were a few area that hadn't been dusted in a long time in the second bedroom but the rest of the cottages was very clean. We had a huge supply of towels which we washed throughout the stay as there was a washing machine and drier in the outdoor area. Overall we picked this one because of the outdoor space and we were lucky with the weather. Not much space inside if weather is bad - especially for young children There were lots of character features and plenty of hot water. When showering, turn the heat control to blue (not red) as this increased the temperature. Nice surprise was the bottle of red left in the secret wine cellar - nice touch."
