「Very nice hotel to stay at」

「Our experience was very different from what the reviews led us to expect. The room was very bright and freezing cold (55°F) when we arrived, and it took us a while to figure out how to adjust the A/C. The hot water in the kitchen took a long time to heat up, and there was no dish soap or sponge provided. The floors were so dirty that my socks turned black. Breakfast consisted mostly of sugary, high-calorie foods, and the coffee was bitter. The front desk staff didn’t seem particularly welcoming....

「We enjoyed our stay here very much. Love the schoolhouse vibe. The staff were welcoming and friendly. One suggestion would be to install towel hanging hooks or rings on the framing wall outside the shower. The shelf above the toilet is a risky spot for towels. The hooks on the door is just enough to hang robes or clothings.」

「I had a pleasant stay overall. The young front desk guy with curly hair was not only handsome but also extremely kind — truly six-star service! I wasn’t feeling well when I arrived, and he allowed me to check in early, which I really appreciated. The hotel was clean and comfortable, definitely worth five stars. 「We stayed for the 4th of July and it was a great place to stay if you are party goer with great views, and decent customer service with the one staff they have on duty. The room was clean but there was rust on the bathroom fixtures. Other than that, it was good over night stay while it lasted. Also, the free breakfast is not the hype they make sound to be but they do offer penthouse brunch but that will be extra. I recommend this place to stay if you like partying and going to the beach.」
