「This was better than I first thought. Staying for business and I need somewhere close to where I was working for 1 night. The email with entry instructions arrived in good time and entry to the building was easy too and parking across the road. Room was perfectly adequate, clean and tidy. The freshly cooked breakfast was lovely. I prefer to have breakfast earlier than 8am but that's only a personal preference. A little bit of road noise on occasion but not all night. 「Hotel and room were beautiful. Check-in clerk was friendly and welcoming. Location was completely charming, and the breakfast was very good. We were in suite 7, and therein lies the problem. An hour after checking in and prior to leaving for dinner we discovered our TV didn’t work. We mentioned it to the clerk who said she would have a look while we were out to dinner if that was OK with us. We gratefully agreed and left for dinner. 「I would normally say nothing rather than write a bad review but this place was so bad - the room in particular, the fact that no one cared and it showed , the lack of maintenance or bothering about customers , i think other guests should be aware. We could have put up with having to search for someone to check us in, the dirty carpets, battered dirty paint work, incredibly slow service , being made to feel an inconvenience for having dinner ( food was nice when we eventually got it) and not...
