"We enjoyed staying here as we have two times before. The rooms, the views, and the pool, sauna and hot tub are very nice. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and they have some nice touches like putting out fresh baked chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon around check in time. They used to have a happy hour from the desk and give a complimentary afternoon short wine pour that you could take out to the firepits, but that is no longer offered. We have enjoyed the complimentary breakfast in the past but this time it disappointed. The breakfast was the exact same everyday. Microwave sausages, crockpot of white sausage gravy with the same sausages, powdered eggs, cubed potatoes and waffles. By day 3 of 4 they put out a bowl of cut melon, that was the only fruit we ever saw. Would have appreciated more fruits or anything with fiber or protein. I resorted to Raisin Bran the 3rd day and we didn’t eat the breakfast on our last day, I couldn’t do it anymore. We will still recommend this location but wish they would bring back some of the special touches that made this a great getaway. "

"I stayed here before and decided it would be a cost efficient way of spending a few days on the Oregon Coast. I am not typically one to leave poor reviews because I know times are hard everywhere, and people are doing their best… but I cannot let this slide. When I went to check in, there was no one at the front desk, and another couple had already been waiting awhile. When we did get checked in, we got a disclaimer that the restaurant, fitness center, and laundry were all permanently closed, and that the property has been in dispute with Clarion about it, to no avail. Again, I was understanding because the rate was good and I knew what I was getting. What upset me was that when I walked into my room, the bedskirt was lopsided and bunched as if someone had taken the mattress off, and it was also stained in at least four places with dried, crusty, white substance in drip, glob, and squirt patterns. I don’t shame previous people’s desires even if it involves a moved mattress or a biospill. But I will forever stand on the principle of a clean hotel room where details are minded. I called the front desk and they came and got the bedskirt. I asked them to replace it and they said they didn’t have any spares- yet another sign of imminent decline. A newly married couple had come, and I imagined the horror they would have felt if that wound up being THEIR honeymoon room. Money troubles happen. Cleanliness is and will always be non negotiable, and this was inexcusable. "

"It was a great deal with an incredible view. The place was nicely decorated and cozy. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Breakfast was great, breakfast lady was excellent, very efficient, kept up on everything! The main reason for our stay there was for the pool. The pool was out of order on the third day so I asked for a refund for that day but all they refunded was the pet fee."
