Called front desk around 2pm to see if they had a room ready. Front desk girl told me no and to come back after 4pm. Then I proceeded to tell her I would be in a poker tournament at the casino the whole day and I won’t be able to check in til late night. She said that’s fine you can check in anytime. If you show up after midnight I just neee to ring the bell to get in. I was done gambling around 4am and went to the hotel to check in and was told they gave my room away because I didn’t show up in time. Not only did I not get a room and had to sleep in my car I was charged 3/4 of my hotel reservation cost with no refund. I’m never going back there again. Both the front desk girls during the day and at night was unprofessional.

Lack of hospitality from Staff, especially the self proclaimed closest thing to a manager this place has Joe. Breakfast was mediocre at best. No fresh fruit, no breakfast meat, no waffles. We ended up eating out for breakfast which was an unplanned cost of the trip. Pool and hot tub were closed. Sauna out of order with a large BBQ inside, I guess you have to heat it somehow… Dirty room with toys left by previous occupants. Worst customer service ever! Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere!

Summary: Do yourself a favor and find another place to stay! Lack of professionalism, lack of amenities, lackluster breakfast. When we arrived to check in to our room, the front desk advised they were not able to honor our reservation through Expedia, and they were not able to provide us the room that we reserved (family suite). Instead they put us into a standard 2 queen bed room. The front desk person stated that there was nothing they could do for us in this situation, and charged us the same rate for a lesser room. We asked to speak with a manager, and were told that was not possible. We then called to Expedia who also called the property and they were not able to change the outcome or the properties lack of hospitality. I pointed out to the front desk person that I could book a 2 queen room on Expedia for substantially less than the reserved rate for the family suite. They did nothing besides blame Expedia and telling us we should not have booked through a third party. The front desk person said we could speak to the in charge at 11 PM when he came onto shift. I waited up till 11 PM to speak with the manager or in charge person “Joe” who was also a brick wall of blaming Expedia, saying that Expedia had booked us into the Queen room, which was blatantly false. I tried to give Joe the opportunity to make things right by getting us into the room we booked for the next two nights of our stay or at bare minimum provide a discount, but again no hospitality.

Breakfast was great, breakfast lady was excellent, very efficient, kept up on everything! The main reason for our stay there was for the pool. The pool was out of order on the third day so I asked for a refund for that day but all they refunded was the pet fee.

Main reason we booked was to use the indoor pool and hot tub with our grandchild. It caused coughing and red eyes the first night was closed the next two days. There were yellow spots under the sheet on the mattress cover that scrubbed out with soap so were clearly fresh not stains. Were given sheets to cover this. The soaps in shower were not refilled in fact one was empty, the conditioner. The door locks are not child safe, easy for a child to unlock and open. Disappointed to say the least. First time coming to beach in years. First time coming to beach for my grandsons.

The staff was exceptional very friendly nice clean motel clean rooms, hot tub pool work as it should and clean breakfast was a regular free continental breakfast nothing spectacular but didn’t expect it to be a five star breakfast either for free great place. Recommend it for sure.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. We stayed in a family suite and unfortunately had little kids above us that were jumping off of furniture all hours of the day. Kids were running up the hallway screaming loudly throughout the day. TV’s in room were not connected to internet and had incorrect remotes. Called down to the front for help but they were so busy they were unable to come and help. Overall the room was super nice and spacious and breakfast was ok. Central to many amenities. Wish there was better assignment of rooms to have little kids on lower floors to limit noise. Recommend improvements in WiFi quality it’s extremely slow and unpredictable.

The room was very big, and comfortable, but the air conditioner was very loud, and there were only towels for one person. along with the coffee. The breakfast was lacking. Only hot dishes were biscuits and gravy, and scrambled eggs. We asked for a 8:30 wake-up call and didn't get it. But for the price I would go again.

If I could rate the staff 10 stars, I would! Diana at the front desk went out of her way to make my daughter’s birthday weekend at the beach special and memorable. We were well taken care of, the included breakfast was delicious and the beach was a short walk away. Everything was clean, well stocked etc.

The staff were polite, but the whole place just didn't seem takeb care of. Could definitely use a face lift. The pool area needed a good scrubbing. 1 of the ice machines was broken, amd so was the sauna. My biggest issue that even if you ask for housekeeping. It doesn't happen. We stayed 4 nights. Had to go ask for fresh towels, taking down our used one. And not once was the trash taken out. If we wanted it to be taken out we had to take it down ourselves. I'm sorry, but if I wanted to do chores, I would have stayed home. We were on vacation. Which brings me to another point, pretty sure people just live there. Whoever was in the room above is was walking around all night long. Our rooms door also did not have a good seel, the light from the hall shown through all night long. I can name so many other issues. But at the end of the day, I picked this place for the family suit, my daughters had space of their own, and were able to go to bed at their normal times. Even so, we won't be staying there again.
