「We had the best stay at awa!! The property is very tastefully done , location on the beach is perfect , breakfast and just food overall (including the coffee) overall is delicious, and I can’t say enough good things about the staff , esp. Johnny .. he went out of his way to help us with some last minute booking changes that we would’ve otherwise stressed about. I also asked the reception staff about the amazing coffee they serve and they were kind enough to give me a sample !! Overall very...

「Every member of the staff was amazing. Everyone was welcoming and seemed genuinely happy to make my stay the best I could possibly be. The food was delicious. the tours were personal and led by very knowledgeable guides. If you don’t have time to do all of the activities, and if you’re there for nature, I recommend skipping the jungle hike to the top of mountain. It’s no more than a walk up a bunch of steps to a lookout point.」

「Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt, zeer ruime kamer. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Het zwembad is niet heel groot en er zijn niet veel ligbedden. De ligging is aan de rand van Puerto Viejo maar fietsverhuur en restaurants nog steeds op loopafstand.」

「Sublime. We saw sloths and toucans walking from reception to our air conditioned room. The property is IN the jungle on the beach. The food is excellent and varied, with portions almost too big. All of the staff is helpful and friendly. It's not Sandals so don't expect infinity pools, mini golf, open bars and a disco. Expect green macaws and monkeys on your amble to the virtually empty beach. You'll see an old wooden hull from a long ago shipwreck and pelicans skimming the small waves. There...

「We came from Canada and spent 3 nights here in one of their bungalows. So nice to have the AC! Breakfast buffet (with made to order eggs) was good, all the staff were amazing and very helpful. So many lizards on the property and the turtles were nesting and hatching right out front of the lodge! Town was only a short walk away. The boat ride in and out was an adventure in itself! Stay here, you won’t regret it」

「If you want ultimate rainforest luxury and top level service you should stay here. Not to be missed. Raft in and out via the Pacuare river and be completely enveloped by the forest and river in the middle of nowhere while having high level meals breakfast, lunch and dinner, incredible adventure programs like zip lining through the canopy and repelling down little waterfall. Seriously. 1000% The food was top tier. The service was thoughtful and personal. The staff is amazing. And they have great...
