「The property was beautiful and clean, the staff was lovely and incredibly helpful, and the breakfast was amazing! Having only one coffee in the room for the 4 mornings (i.e. not replaced each day) was disappointing, but forced us to go out for a local coffee instead. Having small/snack items for late arrivals and/or while the bar is open would be a great idea.」

「I can’t say enough about the property and the staff. We stayed in the Caribbean breeze cabin for 6 nights and it was an amazing experience. You are about 7 minutes from town in a beautifully manicured area which the staff takes care of all day long. The property is tucked just into the jungle off the beach so you get the best of both worlds. This is a place that will always hold a special place in our hearts and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable experience.」

「The staff was amazing! Like unbelievably amazing! Greeted at the dock, luggage taken care of, greeted with fresh watermelon juice, chef cooked such delicious meals (dessert included), housekeeping cleaned 2-3 times a day, cooper hooked us up with tours, everything was great and relaxing. 3 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute walk to the national park, 5 minute walk to the village. 」

「Great location by the beach, the staff was great with nice amenities and plenty of nature and animals. Restaurants were also good」

「Cerca de las mejores playas. Hay que subir unos 100 metros para llegar al hotel, pero todo bien. Desayuno bueenisimo!」

「The bungalow is well equipped and with direct access to the beach. The pool is amazing and the staff very friendly. The only points to improve are the location of the parking area and that the metal roof does not have sound isolation so when it rain is very noisy.」

「Lovely and helpful staff. Great food. By far the most convenient location. Less than a min across the river from the airstrip. I will definitely go back.」

「Hotel is great, just a little bit too far from town. Asked for some ice and was never delivered, also told me they charge a cork fee for my wine to open in my room.」

「Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt, zeer ruime kamer. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Het zwembad is niet heel groot en er zijn niet veel ligbedden. De ligging is aan de rand van Puerto Viejo maar fietsverhuur en restaurants nog steeds op loopafstand.」

「If you want ultimate rainforest luxury and top level service you should stay here. Not to be missed. Raft in and out via the Pacuare river and be completely enveloped by the forest and river in the middle of nowhere while having high level meals breakfast, lunch and dinner, incredible adventure programs like zip lining through the canopy and repelling down little waterfall. Seriously. 1000% The food was top tier. The service was thoughtful and personal. The staff is amazing. And they have great...

「Recomiendo todo al 100, la dueña super. Fijo volveré」

「Precioso hotel en la playa. Personal muy servicial y amable. Zona de la piscina preciosa. Puedes ver fauna local en sus instalaciones.」

「We were in room 29, it was spacious and even with screen windows it wasn’t too noisy from people nearby. The hammock on the porch was nice, and we got to see toucans in the tree by our front door. We also saw a huge iguana on the lawn, and a sweet orange cat. The bathroom was also large and clean. The shower did not have a handheld but it was a rain shower and had hot water pretty quickly. The strange wooden rack in the bathroom proved very useful to lay out clothes to try and get them to dry....

「Great stay, I really recomend」

「Great location and not to far from town」

「Falta mantenimiento en las habitaciones los baños comunes del primer nivel muy desaciados, el desayuno del Domingo se acabó la fruta y el pan y no pusieron más ! Falta de planificación」

「Fantastic Host and staff. I was able to stay in two different locations here. The beach access was awesome if you’re looking for something away from the public beaches. Those can be crowded on the weekends. Across the street are an Italian and Argentinian restaurant, both very good. You can rent a bike or motorcycle as well at a shop about a 100m down the road. For me it was the perfect location that wasn’t in the crowded towns but not too remote.」
