「Unfortunately I was unable to enjoy a stay at the Casa Grande. There is no road to the place, i.e. they have to pick you up by boat. I sent an e-mail, left two WhatsApp messages and tried calling 4 times, all to no avail. Even 2 days later I have not heard from them. I ended up in Parismina without any recourse to get to the place, and so I had to find a different accommodation there. Very unfortunate. If you can book this place in the morning for the evening, the resort must respond, otherwise...

「Petit hôtel très sympathique au bord de l’ocean. Il semblerait qu’il soit dangereux de s’y baigner … nous n’avons pas essayé . Petite piscine carrée pour se détendre si besoin. Familial, tenu par un frere et une soeur. Petit déjeuner , possibilité de manger le soir sur place ( nous n’avons pas testé )」

「The property is in good condition. The room was good, big enough. The location is excellent. They helped set up our tours and we had an excellent time. Everything is super close. Their dock is nice and relaxing. We were able to get some beautiful sunset pictures. The breakfast was very good! We would definitely recommend it!」

「Carey Lodge es un sitio sencillo y muy tranquilo, ideal si buscas algo básico en Tortuguero. La limpieza del cuarto era buena, pero la experiencia se vio afectada porque no nos dejaron toallas ni papel de baño; tuvimos que movernos por nuestra cuenta para conseguirlos. Está un poco alejado del embarcadero principal, lo cual es bueno para el silencio pero requiere caminar más. Mi mayor recomendación es no reservar por aplicaciones como Expedia si el precio se ve elevado, ya que terminamos pagando...

「Tal como su nombre indica, se encuentra frenta a la playa, aunque ésta es un tanto "salvaje" por lo que está poco frecuentada y hay que bañarse con cuidado debido a las corrientes. Tortuguero es pequeño y todo está cerca, así que en pocos minutos se puede llegar andando a cualquier lugar. Lo recomendaría para una estancia breve, no más de 2 ó 3 días.」

「Brilliant hotel in a great beach-front location. The room was very large and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was very good. The staff were all very nice and extremely helpful, particularly Leo who was regularly ensuring that we were happy with everything. Breakfast is made to order to suit your preferences and was very tasty. Nice hammocks to relax in. The staff even took our luggage to the dock for us」

「I recommend that if you want to stay at Miss Marian‘s cabins, I would only stay for about a week. People that own it are very nice and they definitely want to help. So I do recommend it.」

「This hotel was awesome. It was right next to the national park. We loved going out and sitting on the river side to drink coffee in the morning. It is hot and humid but the air conditioner and dehumidifier worked beautifully. There is a fridge and coffee maker with provided coffee. No microwave, shampoo, or conditioner. There were plenty of dishes/silverware. My kids would have loved the place but my husband and I came alone. We would definitely return.」
