「Hemos pasado dos noches en Tortuguero, y desde antes de llegar ya nos sentíamos arropados por todo el personal. Un servicio y trato muy personalizado y profesional. Te ayudan a gestionar traslados, visitas…Comunicación de 10 desde el momento en el que hicimos la reserva. Habitación amplia y cómoda. Servicio de comidas, correcto. Sin duda, recomiendo alojarse en este establecimiento. 」

「Personnel très accueillant et sympathique. Chambre peu spacieuse mais confortable, salle de bain grande mais pas assez de tablettes pour déposer les effets personnels. Déjeuner style buffet copieux avec fruits frais et œufs fait sur demande. On a aimé la piscine, juste assez grande pour se rafraîchir et lire un peu. On a même eu la chance d’observer un paresseux de très proche grimper sur un arbre.」

「This place is an oasis in the rain forest! Beautiful grounds and the staff and owner were the best! Water taxis and walking is how you get around. Ton's of wildlife and a great experience! I would call it "rustic elegance". Just one item that may bother others is there is no climate control in the rooms. That did not bother us since they all have ceiling fans, but it may be a consideration of some.」

「Chambre très propre et confortable malgré un problème de connexion wi-fi. Un seul bémol : pas de réception à l'hôtel. Notre chambre était située à l'entrée du village à l'écart de l'hôtel (15 mn du centre du village donc pas de soucis). Nous n'avons eu aucun contact avec le personnel de l'hôtel qui était situé dans le centre du village. Nous y sommes allés mais n'avons trouvé personne ! 」

「Es un lugar totalmente rústico. Para llegar, es necesario tomar una lancha. Sin embargo, está muy confortable, limpio y protegido. La comida que ofrecen es muy buena, el entorno es el lago, vegetación, y aves hermosas. Y lo mejor de todo, el trato del personal es excelente (Edgar, el barman, excepcional atención). Para ir al pueblo, también se toma taxi acuático. Toda una hermosa experiencia para relajarse en medio de la naturaleza」

「Although its located in a jungle, these are cabins. Windows does not have doors just a mesh, so if you are a light sleeper it gets really noisy. Receptionists not friendly」

「We discovered that we LOVE Casa Marbella, one of the highlights of our visit to Costa Rica this time! Family owned and run, one of the oldest hotels in Tortugero, the Casa Marbella staff provides friendly, expert, and excellent customer service (boat taxi pick up at the airport, guided tours by boat and in the preserve, etc.) The hotel is small, right on the river, and quiet. We loved staying here and definitely would go back.」

「The Cabinas is close to the beach with shower at entrance so you can wash feet or body before getting to your room. The staff are kind, even if difficult to communicate at times as some don't speak English, but they do their best. The hammocks are a pleasure in the afternoon. There is a common area with tables that you can have your meals which is very useful. The room was clean, beds very comfortable, it was fee hot days when we were there and ceiling fan and separate fans were helpful. The...

「Lovely little place five minutes walk from the port. Great air con and nice to share the facilities next door with a great little pool and lovely breakfast. All the staff were great. The only improvement I would suggest is a fridge and coffee maker in the room, and we think someone could make some money offering a bag carrying service from the port with a cart! It’s very hot with heavy bags. But overall a lovely stay - thank you! 」
