「We discovered that we LOVE Casa Marbella, one of the highlights of our visit to Costa Rica this time! Family owned and run, one of the oldest hotels in Tortugero, the Casa Marbella staff provides friendly, expert, and excellent customer service (boat taxi pick up at the airport, guided tours by boat and in the preserve, etc.) The hotel is small, right on the river, and quiet. 「Lovely little place five minutes walk from the port. Great air con and nice to share the facilities next door with a great little pool and lovely breakfast. All the staff were great. The only improvement I would suggest is a fridge and coffee maker in the room, and we think someone could make some money offering a bag carrying service from the port with a cart!
