I previously stayed at the Hilton/Hampton nearby for nearly $200 a night, but this was half the cost and honestly a much better experience. The room was nicer, the property was well-maintained, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. "This historic Inn was decorated beautifully for the season & our room, Mary Queen of Scott's room#12, was tastefully decorared with an antique canopy bed & period pieces. Our room looked over the courtyard and lake. From the signature drink selection to the appetizer and dinner, portions were beyond expectations with reasonable prices. Waking to peaceful falling snow while drinking our morning coffee was a added bonus. If you want the charm of yesteryears with the conveniences of today found in a quaint village getting, the Brae Loch Inn is your place!"
