「this is an ok hotel, but the reason for the low rating is that when I walked into the lobby to check in it was just like I had entered the set of a Cheech and Chong movie. the smell of p*t would knock you down it was so overwhelming. I got a buzz waiting to check in. I could smell it all the way down the hallway and around 2 corners to our room, but fortunately not in the room. I don't know who is running this hotel, but that is just unacceptable.」

「Everything is always perfect at Berry Hill Resort. They are accommodating with early and late check-outs w previous notice. There are many places so see on site such as displays of the history of Berry Hill, a historical family cemetery which is interesting, if you like history. Dogs are welcome and there are fields for walk. Original cabins are on-site which compliment the historical home with its massive pillars and beautiful rooms. 「We absolutely loved this quaint inn. It’s in the cutest part of Hillsborough. There are little shops and restaurants that are within walking distance as well as Weaver Street Market. The room was clean and fresh and very comfortable. 」
